The Bremen Town Council members reviewed a bid recommendation Monday night for work to be done in a list of projects approved for Community Crossings Matching Grant Program funds.
Bremen Street Superintendent Austin Langdon previously said portions of South Jackson Street, West Lincoln Street and West Dewey Street will receive a preventative maintenance overlay while portions of Parkview Lane, South Alexander Street, South East Street, and South Morningside Drive will be resurfaced with asphalt.
Ken Jones with JPR recommended the approval of the lowest bid submitted by E&B Paving for $366,765 as bid paperwork was in order. In all, four bids were submitted for the projects.
The Bremen Town Council members unanimously approved the bid from E&B Paving.
Work will not begin until the spring.
