Plymouth Superintendent Hopeful to Host Occupants in New Lincoln Education Center over Spring Break

Plymouth Community School Superintendent Andy Hartley gave the school board members an update on the construction of the Lincoln Education Center during their meeting last week.

The Lincoln Education Center will house cooperative educational offices, vocational offices, special education offices, and adult education programming.

Hartley said, “They’re just doing some final touch-ups on painting, there is still some carpet to finish upstairs – the big final portion is just that east entrance there that will go into the parking lot. They’re just finishing doors and windows there, carpeting, things like that. It’s coming along nicely.  We’re still hopeful that we’ll be able to move in some of our J.E.S.S.E., vocational, and adult education over spring break.  It’s the hope to get at least some furniture in there.

Hartley noted that the parking lot in between the Lincoln Education Center and the New Lincoln Junior High School will be completed once the weather allows for asphalt to be installed.
