The United Way of Marshall County, Marshall County Community Foundation and Marshall County Commissioners are sponsoring a mobile food distribution event Friday, February 19 from 10 a.m. to noon ET at Shumaker Westside Park in Bremen.
Members of the Food Bank of Northern Indiana will be distributing assorted food items free of charge in a drive-thru event at the Pine Building in the park. The event will help up to 400 households.
All items are pre-bagged and one box per household will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Residents are asked to remain in the car during the event. Open the vehicle’s trunk to receive items. An area will be available for self-loading if the vehicle’s trunk does not open.
