The Culver Town Council members will consider the third and final reading of the storm water utility rate ordinance that supports an incremental increase of rates over the next few years to help gather funds for storm sewer maintenance and projects.
The members will also award a bid for the upcoming Community Crossings Matching grant projects. Members of the Visitor Center will present the Culver Town Council with information and department heads will provide regular reports.
An intergovernmental agreement with Marshall County will be considered that deals with legal action with the owner of the former City Tavern building at 415 Lake Shore Drive. According to local chapter 7 bankruptcy attorney, a bankruptcy filing has stayed the sheriff’s sale of the property and a motion will be filed to lift that stay. The county and the Town of Culver are attempting to recoup real estate taxes and a judgment lien. The Marshall County Commissioners approved the agreement last week.
The Culver Town Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. ET and the public is welcome attend virtually. The link can be accessed here.
