The Culver Town Council members will meet tonight where they will open bids for Community Crossings projects this spring.
The council members will also hold a public hearing on an ordinance that amends the storm water utility rates. The second reading of that ordinance would be considered following that public hearing.
The incremental increases will be phased-in over the next two years. Residential rates would increase two dollars in two years, non-residential/commercial customer charges would increase nearly four dollars in two years, and rates for condos, hotels, motels and condotels would increase nearly six dollars over two years.
The council members will also hold a discussion over Senate Bill 389 that deals with Indiana wetlands, and a Main Street Maintenance proposal from Seller’s Services.
Department heads will provide updates, as well as members on boards and commissions in the town.
The Culver Town Council members will meet at 6:30 p.m. ET at the Culver Beach Lodge, although members of the public are encouraged to attend the meeting virtually. The link can be found here. A work session will be held at 5:30 p.m. ET to go over the town’s financial reports.
