The Marshall County Council members welcomed two new council members to the table Monday morning. Jesse Bohannon and Tim Harman were elected to serve as council members in the November General Election. Jim Masterson returned to the council after having been retained in his seat in the election.
The council members then went into regular business to reorganize for the new year. The members voted unanimously to put Tim Harman in the president’s position for the year and Mandy Campbell was voted in as vice president of the council. They also made their liaison appointments for the year in each of the county offices and other organizations within the county that need a council member to serve.
The council members will be looking to fill their appointed seat on the BZA. Other appointments included Maria Keller to the Marshall County Alcoholic Beverage Board, Kevin Overmyer to the Argos Economic Development Corporation, and Don Fox to the Culver Economic Development Corporation Board.
