The Marshall County Commissioners will consider the third reading of the amendments to the solar ordinance during their meeting today. Plan Director Ty Adley will present that for the commissioners’ approval as well as an ordinance regarding storage containers.
Marshall County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters will have the bid award for the project at 2B Road for approval. He will also discuss a financial commitment and projects to submit for the first call of Community Crossings Matching Grant funds through INDOT.
Clerk Deb VanDeMark will have an Infinity Voting System maintenance contract for the commissioners to approve and Janis Jeffirs Holiday will give the commissioners a quarterly report from the Marshall County Older Adult Services organization.
Sheriff Matt Hassel is anticipated to present Blake Bennett and the new K9 to the commissioners this morning.
The commissioners will complete appointments to the Unsafe Building and Premises Board, Argos Public Library, Board of Development Authority, and a MACOG appointment for the private sector and Chamber of Commerce.
Auditor Julie Fox and County Attorney Jim Clevenger will have their regular reports to the commissioners.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today at 9:30 a.m. in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
