The Marshall County Commissioners approved a bid for a drainage project on 2B Road in the Donnybrook subdivision.
The project involves moving tile from underneath a garage on the property owned by Chris Waidner. Some existing tile is already damaged.
The lowest bid came from Langfeldt Excavating in the amount of $32,370. The bid was recommended for the commissioners’ approval by Highway Superintendent Jason Peters. The commissioners approved the recommendation with a unanimous vote.
The cost is expected to be divided between the county and Waidner.
The other bid submitted was from Jackson Excavating in the amount of $34,429.
