The construction of the new manufacturing center in Plymouth is on schedule.
Plymouth City Attorney Sean Surrisi gave the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members an update Tuesday night and said work was paused for about a week due to COVID-19.
Commission President Mike Miley said that he drove by the site on Monday and saw that progress has been made.
The building will be 43,000 square feet that is expandable to over 100,000 square feet to fit a company’s needs with easy access to U.S. 30 and U.S. 31. Majority Builders is the contractor for the project.
The project cost is about $2.1 million that is funded, in part, by a Regional Development Authority loan of $400,000 and $1.7 million to be financed by the Marshall County Economic Development Commission through Centier Bank.
