Bids were opened last week for a drainage project on 2B Road in the Donnybrook subdivision.
The project involves moving tile from underneath a garage on the property owned by Chris Waidner. Some existing tile is already damaged.
County Attorney Jim Clevenger read the bids aloud that came from Langfeldt Excavating in the amount of $32,370 and Jackson Excavating in the amount of $34,429. The cost is expected to be divided between the county and Waidner.
The bids were taken under advisement and Highway Superintendent Jason Peters will be reviewing those with a possible approval at the commissioners’ next meeting on January 19.
