The Argos Childcare Academy is open and currently assisting students of school employees with preschool needs at this time.
Superintendent Ned Speicher said this week that the academy will open to the entire Argos community in February.
The Argos Community School Board members approved a Memorandum of Understanding with Small Wonders last year to manage a day-to-day childcare operation out of the school’s former administration building across the street from the Elementary School.
Speicher stated previously that before school and after school programs already exist in the building and updates were recently made to the building to accommodate the Childcare Academy.
Small Wonders will be providing the personnel, care, and the licensing for the children.
