Pulaski County Moves Back to Orange Status, More COVID-19 Deaths Reported Locally

Pulaski County moved back to the orange code this week on the state’s County Metrics Map.  Marshall County remains at the orange level, but Starke County elevated to a red status

Four more people died of COVID-19 in Pulaski County and one more person died of the virus in Marshall County, according to Wednesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. 

Another 41 positive COVID-19 cases were reported in Marshall County on Wednesday for a new overall total of 4,086 cases, Starke County had an additional 20 cases for a new overall total of 1,345, and Pulaski County had 22 more positive COVID-19 cases for a new total of 685. 

At the state level, an additional 6,283 people were diagnosed with COVID-19 from November 11 to December 15 and another 125 people died between November 18 and December 15.
