Pulaski County moved back to the orange code this week on the state’s County Metrics Map. Marshall County remains at the orange level, but Starke County elevated to a red status.
Four more people died of COVID-19 in Pulaski County and one more person died of the virus in Marshall County, according to Wednesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.
Another 41 positive COVID-19 cases were reported in Marshall County on Wednesday for a new overall total of 4,086 cases, Starke County had an additional 20 cases for a new overall total of 1,345, and Pulaski County had 22 more positive COVID-19 cases for a new total of 685.
At the state level, an additional 6,283 people were diagnosed with COVID-19 from November 11 to December 15 and another 125 people died between November 18 and December 15.
