The Marshall County Commissioners will meet this morning where they discuss several items that have to do with CARES Act funding.
They will consider a request from EMA Director Clyde Avery about applying for a CARES-OMB Safety Awareness Grant and review an Indiana Criminal Justice Institute Grant Agreement for Community Corrections that deals with CARES Act funding. Greg Hildebrand from the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation will present a sub-recipient agreement for the micro loan program with CARES Act funding.
Additionally, Janis Jeffirs Holiday from Older Adult Services will have a grant agreement from INDOT, Sheriff Matt Hassel will ask to purchase a vehicle, and the commissioners will look at a claim request from Graycraft Signs for the LED message boards.
The commissioners will also make an appointment to the Marshall County Board of Health and open bids for services for the Highway Department.
Regular reports will be given by Highway Superintendent Jason Peters, Auditor Julie Fox and County Attorney Jim Clevenger. Clevenger will present a temporary remote work policy as part of his presentation this morning.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet at 8:30 a.m. today in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
