Driver Arrested after Allegedly Leading Police on Chase from Argos to Rochester

A South Bend man was arrested, after allegedly leading police on a chase from Argos to Rochester Saturday night. Marshall County Police say they tried to pull over a vehicle driven by David D. Rotzien III near U.S. 31 and 16th Road at around 8:00 p.m. But instead of pulling over, he allegedly accelerated and continued into Fulton County.

Officers say he was eventually stopped through the joint efforts of Marshall County, Fulton County, and Rochester Police near the Pilot truck stop. Rotzien was taken to the Marshall County Jail. He’s accused of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, operating while intoxicated, and other potential charges.
