The Culver Town Council members renewed the Public Health Disaster Emergency Declaration for another seven days during their meeting Tuesday night.
Among other things, the declaration allows the town to put forth emergency laws, regulations and directives for the safety of the public. It also allows the town to be eligible for any federal or state financial assistance.
Town Council President Ginny Bess Munroe said it mirrors the same declaration at the county level. The ratification of a declaration signed by Munroe last week was also approved.
The council members also re-affirmed the support given toward the county’s COVID-19 Face Mask Requirement for Workplace and Enforcement Ordinance.
