Culver Community Schools to Return to In-Person Learning Monday, More Students and Staff Test Positive

Culver Community Schools students may be learning from home, but COVID-19 continues to spread. In her weekly update, Superintendent Karen Shuman said six students became positive since the switch to virtual learning. Two more adults have tested positive, while another three are waiting for their test results.

Shuman says virtual learning will continue for the rest of this week. In-person classes will resume Monday, December 7. The superintendent stresses that those who’ve tested positive will not be allowed to return until they’ve completed their quarantines. Extracurricular events will continue as scheduled, but at 25 percent spectator capacity, as required by Governor Holcomb’s executive order.
