The Bourbon Town Council members reviewed a proposed amendment to the golf cart ordinance during their meeting last week.
The amendment would increase the registration fee to $20 to ensure the town’s costs are being covered with the fee.
Clerk-Treasurer Kim Berger said the change in the fee was properly advertised.
The council members approved the first reading during their meeting in November. They unanimously voted to suspend the rules and approve the amendment on second and third reading.
