Starke, Pulaski County Reporting Additional COVID-19 Deaths

The number of COVID-19 deaths in the state continues to climb, according to Monday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.  That information contained another COVID-19 death in Starke County and one additional COVID-19 death in Pulaski County.  That takes the number of deaths in Starke County up to 25 and up to 16 in Pulaski County.  Marshall County has reported a total of 46 deaths since the start of the pandemic. 

The Indiana Department of Health announced that another 5,713 residents in the state have been diagnosed with COVID-19, which includes 25 new cases in Marshall County, 14 new cases in Starke County and 8 new cases in Pulaski County.  The new total COVID-19 case count in Marshall County is 3,204.  Starke County’s total is up to 980 and Pulaski County’s new total case count is 450. 

According to the school dashboard on the state’s coronavirus website, Culver Academies reported another 15 student cases and less than five new teacher cases last week.  Many of the local schools reported less than five new student or teacher cases.  In some schools, there were no new student, teacher or staff COVID-19 cases.
