The Plymouth City Council members are gathering comments and information on a potential ordinance that would prohibit parking in front yards.
The issue was brought up in September after City Attorney Sean Surrisi said the Plymouth Plan Commission members talked about it in a meeting. They would like to see the City Council members address the issue in an ordinance that restricts the practice.
Surrisi told the City Council members on Monday that he received photos of areas of concern from a resident who is encouraging the council members to keep the conversation going and to implement an ordinance.
Council members have received mixed reactions to a possible ordinance.
Surrisi said a draft ordinance could be presented at the next meeting on Monday, November 9.
