The Marshall County area is under a winter weather advisory until 9 a.m. Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service, snow may accumulate two to four inches later today through Tuesday. Heavy snow bands will develop with snow rates of one to two inches per hour. Snow accumulations could vary up to five inches.
It is recommended to use extra caution when driving and allow extra time to get to a destination.
