The Marshal County Council members will consider many grant requests when they meet this morning.
Clerk Deb VanDeMark will ask the council for permission to apply for CARES Act grant funding through the Secretary of State’s Office, Highway Superintendent Jason Peters will ask for matching funds to apply for the Community Crossings Matching Grant Program, and Community Corrections Director Ward Byers will ask to apply for a grant through the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute for the development of a Marshall County Community Resource app.
Marshall County Commission President Kevin Overmyer will ask the council for land acquisition and Museum Director Linda Rippy will present an update concerning activities at the Marshall County Museum over the last few months.
Additional appropriation requests and transfer requests will be considered for approval, along with the approval of the Green Township budget and an ordinance to establish new county funds.
The Marshall County Council will meet at 9 a.m. today in the second floor meeting room (room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
