The Marshall County Commissioners will meet this morning where they will consider the second reading of the solar ordinance.
The commissioners tabled the second reading of the ordinance at their last meeting as Commissioner Michael Burroughs was not in attendance. Commission President Kevin Overmyer said he thought all three commissioners should be able to comment on the amendment prior to the second reading.
Marshall County Health Nurse Lisa Letsinger will present a request to purchase a vehicle, Clerk Deb VanDeMark will discuss precinct worker pay, Community Corrections Director Ward Byers will have a grant request for the commissioners’ approval, a Memorandum of Understanding with the Marshall County Park Board will be reviewed, and a presentation on 2021 employee insurance benefits will be provided by Gibson Insurance.
Additionally, quarterly reports will be presented by Museum Executive Director Linda Rippy and Older Adult Services Director Janis Holiday.
Regular reports will be given by Highway Superintendent Jason Peters, County Attorney Jim Clevenger and Auditor Julie Fox.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet at 8:30 a.m. today in the second floor meeting room (room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
