The Culver Town Council members reviewed several additional appropriation requests at their meeting last week.
Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim stated that the appropriations are needed as several budgets are anticipated to be overspent.
The appropriation requests included $138,000 in COVID Small Business Relief funds, $85,000 in Stellar funds, $25,000 in EMS Salaries, $25,000 for equipment for the Street Department that is being spent this year instead of 2021, and $60,000 for the lease purchase of the aerial fire truck.
The Culver Town Council members approved the first reading of the ordinance authorizing the additional appropriations. They then suspended the rules and approved the ordinance on second and third reading.
