The Marshall County Council members reviewed budgets again Monday morning before formally adopting them.
The council decided on raises before adopting the Marshall County budget. They approved a 55-cent raise for part-time hourly workers, a $800 flat rate increase for part-time salaried workers, a $1,600 increase for full-time elected officials, and a 55-cent raise for full-time salaried workers.
It was noted that the elected officials did not get a raise last year due to adjustments made in wage recommendations by Waggoner, Irwin and Scheele.
Additionally, the non-certified Coroner per-call pay would increase from $42 to $50, but the council members did not approve an increase for the certified Deputy Coroner. It stands at $100.
The overall Marshall County budget totals $24,743,068 which the council unanimously approved.
The council members also adopted the East Shore Conservancy District budget of $305,747, the tourism budget and the Marshall County Solid Waste budget at $361,465.
