Plymouth City Attorney Sean Surrisi updated the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members on two properties that were on the unsafe buildings list.
He explained that a stay on a moratorium on foreclosure proceedings ended so further action could be taken at 400 E. Jefferson Street. A court judge granted a judgment against the owner of the former Clark station at that location in the amount of $12,380 for demolition costs.
Additionally, Surrisi said specifications were put together for the demolition of 701 W. Lake Avenue. Those details were given to companies who have done demolition projects in the past and they will also be published for bidding purposes. Any bids received for the demolition will be opened at the next Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety meeting in September.
