The Marshall County Commissioners will open bids for the proposed construction of a county morgue when they meet this morning.
Additionally, Marshall County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Jerry Chavez will have a second public hearing on a Community Development Block Grant to assist small businesses in the county affected by COVID-19, and Plan Director Ty Adley will have public hearings on a request and a solar farms zoning ordinance amendment.
WIC Director Evelyn Shields and Health Department Administrator Ashley Garcia will present grant requests, while Marshall County Parks and Recreation Board members Greg Hildebrand and Deb VanDeMark will discuss the Mill Pond.
United Consulting representatives will provide an update on Bridge No. 11 on North Union Road, and the commissioners will hear updates from Highway Superintendent Jason Peters, County Attorney Jim Clevenger, and Auditor Julie Fox.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet at 9:30 a.m. today in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
