The Marshall County Commissioners will open a public hearing this morning to gather comments on a Community Development Block Grant from the state in the amount of $250,000 that will be used by the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation to provide COVID-19 relief to businesses and industry in the county.
Priority Project Resources Grant Writer Shannon McLeod will present a recommendation on a bid for acceptance for the new community message boards.
EMA Director Clyde Avery will provide information on a master service agreement for BOLD Planning, Marshall County Public Health Officer Dr. Byron Holm will have information on the purchase of a Winnebago for the disbursement of vaccines, Tobacco Education Coordinator Annette Haining will have the Marshall County grounds smoke free policy, while Laurie Johnson from DLZ will have information on the CARES Act study.
Residents Jim Hulse, Thomas Monhaut and Jon Langfeldt will have various requests for consideration by the commissioners this morning.
Highway Superintendent Jason Peters, Auditor Julie Fox and County Attorney Jim Clevenger have their regular reports for the commissioners.
Additionally, the commissioners will talk about the Bremen and Plymouth Boys and Girls Clubs.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet this morning at 8:30 a.m. ET in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
