The Culver Town Council members talked briefly about trick-or-treat hours on Tuesday night.
Several years ago, the council members set trick-or-treat hours on October 31 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET and to keep it the same day and time until further notice.
Town Manager Jonathan Leist brought up the discussion Tuesday night and the council members agreed to keep it the same this year, despite the pandemic. They may modify the decision if the Marshall County Health Department provides other guidance.
Trick-or-treaters are encouraged to look for porch lights that are shining as it indicates a homeowner is participating in trick-or-treating. Residents who do not want to participate should turn off the porch light.
Culver officials encourage social distancing when possible when not wearing a mask.
