Vacant Plymouth Home Slated for Demolition

A home in Plymouth is on the list for demolition in the near future.

Plymouth City Attorney Sean Surrisi told the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members Monday night that the specs are being drafted for 701 Lake Avenue in order to get the notice out to potential bidders for the demolition.

Building Commissioner Keith Hammonds previously told the board members that the owners were notified of the action and have no plans to bring the structure up to code.

Surrisi said the board is anticipated to open bids for the demolition of the property at their first meeting in September.
