The John Glenn School Board members reviewed a claim Tuesday night for personal protective equipment for students and staff for when they all return to in-person learning.
Superintendent Christopher Winchell explained that the purchases were made through Fastenal.
“We have ordered a John Glenn mask and hand sanitizer kit for every single student, and we’re also putting together a kit for every single staff member where they will have a reusable mask, a face shield, a box of disposable masks, a box of disposable gloves, a can of Lysol spray, hand sanitizer, and Clorox wipes,” said Winchell. “We wanted to make it something special so we spent a little extra money to personalize those for our 2,000 students.”
The claim for $25,810.38 was approved with a unanimous vote.
