Marshall County Commission President Talks with County Council about COVID-19 Funding

Many of the funds Marshall County officials are spending in response to COVID-19 are expected to be reimbursed, according to Marshall County Commission President Kevin Overmyer. He told the Marshall County Council members on Monday that Barnes and Thornburg officials are processing claims through representatives of the Indiana Finance Authority (IFA) who determines if it is a valid expense for reimbursement.

Indiana Distributing PPE for Poll Workers, Preparing for Large Number of Mail-In Ballots

Indiana’s primary election is coming up on June 2, and the state continues working to safely hold an election during a global pandemic. During state officials’ COVID-19 press conference Friday, Secretary of State Connie Lawson said her office has used federal CARES Act money to get personal protective equipment for poll workers and election staff in all 92 counties.
