The Culver Town Council members will review amendments to two ordinances when they meet tonight.
At the last meeting, Council member Rich West suggested increasing the golf cart registration fee to $100 which will be discussed as an amendment to the ordinance. The council’s decision to install a crosswalk at Chadwick Shores and change the speed limit to 10 mph in that area will be part of an amendment proposed in the traffic ordinance.
The council members will continue discussions on utility relief for large employers and the 2021 budget. A discussion on an economic development facilitator is also included on the agenda.
Town Manager Jonathan Leist will have an update on the town’s projects within the Stellar Communities Designation effort and more information on the town’s projects within the Marshall County Crossroads Regional Stellar Communities Initiative will be provided.
The department heads and members of various boards and commissions are anticipated to provide updates to the council.
The Culver Town Council meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET in the basement of the Culver-Union Township Public Library at 107 N. Main Street.
