The Culver Town Council members will continue their discussion tonight (Thursday, Aug. 27) on the 2021 budget in a continuation of Tuesday night’s special session at 5 p.m. ET.
They began talking about the budget in the special session Tuesday night before their regular meeting, but did not finish reviewing all budgets. The EMS budget has yet to be discussed. It was noted that new EMS Director Jeff Koon has been busy pushing the pencil to get the budget prepared for advertisement and the council plans to look into those figures tonight.
The Culver Town Council members did unanimously agree to advertise the budget after they meet tonight.
The budget will also be posted on the Indiana Gateway website soon for public viewing. The public hearing on the proposed budget is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 22 during the council’s regular meeting.
