Bourbon Town Council Thanks Employees for Storm Response

The Bourbon Town Council members applauded the work done by town employees to assist in clean-up after Monday night’s storms.

Council President Ward Byers thanked Town Marshal Bill Martin and the Bourbon Police Department for his efforts along with the police reserves in responding to reports of downed trees.  Council member PJ Hanley additionally thanked the fire department and the employees for a swift response, even if communication was not available due to damage to towers.

The town suffered from a large-scale power outage, but no structural damage was reported and no injuries occurred.
