Marshall County COVID-19 Case Numbers Surge

Over 50 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Marshall County in Saturday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health.

The report indicated that 55 new cases were reported in Marshall County to bring the total to 482.  Starke County’s COVID-19 case numbers increased by seven for a new total of 92, and Pulaski County is holding at 62 total COVID-19 cases.  No new deaths were reported locally.

The state as a whole reported 522 new cases for a new total of 47,432.

Patients are in varying stages of recovery and fighting the virus.

A total of 2,494 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of six from Friday’s report. 

Over 512,000 tests have been reported to the Indiana State Department of Health, with nearly 8,000 of those included in Saturday’s report.
