The Marshall County Commissioners will host several public hearings when they meet this morning.
One public hearing will be held concerning an ordinance submitted by the Unsafe Building Board. Building Commissioner Chuck DeWitt will have more information about the reorganization of the board and the penalties and fees associated with the ordinance during today’s meeting.
Plan Director Ty Adley will have two items from the Marshall County Plan Commission in separate public hearings.
In other business, Health Administrator Ashley Garcia will present a grant application request for the emergency preparedness coordinator position, while IT Director Michael Marshall will talk about BIS Digital Livestream operations. Indiana, Illinois, Iowa Foundation for Fair Contracting Policy Director Josh Weger will have a presentation, and Linda and James Hall will talk more about a complaint surrounding a pier at the Lake of the Woods.
Highway Superintendent Jason Peters, Auditor Julie Fox and County Attorney James Clevenger will have their regular reports. The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today at 9:30 a.m. in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
