The Marshall County Commissioners will meet this morning where they will review a Memorandum of Understanding between the county and the City of Plymouth concerning the upcoming Pioneer Drive construction project. The city would like to use 7B Road maintained by the county as a detour through that area. The agreement will set out specific terms of responsibility during the two-month project.
Representatives from USI Consultants and United Consulting will discuss the Bridge #232 and Bridge #11 projects with the commissioners while Highway Superintendent Jason Peters will provide an update on other activities with the highway department.
Building and Grounds Maintenance Director Doug Masterson will discuss a few projects while Jail Maintenance Director John Greer will have a quote for an exhaust fan for approval.
Janis Jeffers from Older Adult Services will present a grant request, and a resident plans to talk about public access off of Liberty Street to the Lake of the Woods area.
Reports from County Attorney Jim Clevenger and Auditor Julie Fox will also be presented during this morning’s Marshall County Commissioners meeting that begins at 8:30 a.m. in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
