Culver Town Council and Culver Chamber of Commerce members will be working together to reach out to business owners about encouraging patrons to wear masks while inside establishments.
Culver Town Council President Ginny Bess Munroe said she and Council Vice President Bill Githens received a message from a concerned person on how safe the town might be concerning COVID-19, especially with school starting soon at both the Culver Academies and Culver Community School Corporation.
Council member Rich West suggested working with the Chamber to discuss the idea of wearing masks with the business owners and then make a recommendation on how to proceed at the next council meeting on Tuesday, July 28.
The council supported the suggestion. They want to make sure all is being done to keep everyone safe.
Aside from the use of masks, the council members encourage social distancing at all times.
