Representatives from the TGIF Argos group approached the Argos Town Council last week to talk about upcoming events.
TGIF Argos wants to do Food Truck Fridays. The representatives discussed the event with the Health Department who raised issues with liability, but did not say the event had to close. Concerning the liability, it was determined that the Argos Community Development Corporation would be in charge of the TGIF group who would fall under proper liability insurance.
TGIF will be working with social distancing guidelines with upcoming events in addition to hand sanitizer stations.
TGIF Argos will host an event on Friday, July 10 at 6 p.m. with bands, food, crafts, and more. The Argos Town Council members encouraged the representatives to follow the governor’s guidelines and the Marshall County Health Department’s guidelines to have a successful event.
