Suspected Intoxicated Man Arrested in Plymouth Park

A Bremen man was arrested on Wednesday afternoon after Plymouth Police Department officers received a complaint about an intoxicated man in River Park Square.

Plymouth police say 46-year-old Larry Baltes was harassing people in the park.  He was reportedly found to have consumed alcohol and was intoxicated.  As the responding officer was attempting to take him into custody, Baltes battered the officer, according to the report.

Baltes was booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of public intoxication and battery to law enforcement.  His bond was set at $505.

Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
