New Welcome Signs Coming to Bremen

New welcome signs may soon be installed in Bremen.

Council member Rick Graverson brought up the issue during the town council’s most recent meeting.  He asked if the signs could be taken down as they are looking quite unsightly.

Bremen Director of Operations Trend Weldy told the town council members that he first got pricing for new signs back in 2017 when the sign replacement was considered in the Hometown Collaboration Initiatives program, but a different project was chosen.

He said he recently talked with Vanadco Signs representatives to update that pricing so that project can get underway.  The bigger signs are over $2,000 and Weldy said he’d have more pricing information on the smaller signs at the next meeting on June 8.

Council member Michael Leman commented that it’s important to update the signs, especially with the addition of the softball state championship recognition sign.
