The Culver Chamber of Commerce received approval from the Department of Natural Resources to hold a fireworks event on Lake Maxinkuckee for the Fourth of July.
The Chamber members gathered donations from Culver residents and businesses for the event to help boost the morale of the citizens of Culver from the affects of COVID-19.
The Culver Town Council members approved a special event permit by a majority vote on Tuesday night where security will be provided in case there is a large amount of people at the Culver Town Park. Residents will be required to observe social distancing recommendations. The Chamber provided signs throughout town to promote that safe practice of all who visit Culver.
