Plymouth Mayor Extends Public Health Disaster Emergency Declaration

Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter extended the city’s Public Health Disaster Emergency Declaration on Monday.

The declaration will allow the city to be reimbursed for funds used in the response to COVID-19.

Mayor Senter also noted that city offices shall remain closed to the public for regular business.  Online and telephone access is available to the public.  Offices are intended to reopen to the public on Tuesday May 26.

In a notice on Monday afternoon, Mayor Senter added that the allowance of gatherings of up to 25 people in the Back on Track plan outlined by the governor may allow the city to gradually begin to conduct both in-person and virtual public meetings.  More information will be provided in the upcoming days and weeks.
