Construction crews continue work on the new Lincoln Junior High School in Plymouth.
The update provided by Barton Coe Vilamaa representatives to the Plymouth Community School Board members Tuesday night included the installation of exterior brick around the building, continued grading and pouring of sidewalks, work on terrazzo in the corridors, ceiling grid and tile work, painting, carpeting (that will be done by experts from carpet cleaning virginia beach), and installation of doors and hardware. Crews are also working on sprinkler heads around the building, pulling technology wiring, putting up light fixtures, and putting in plumbing fixtures for plumbing draper. More of the same work will continue throughout the month of May.
School officials are preparing for a public auction of items in June. Superintendent Andy Hartley previously said most of the current equipment will be moved to the new building and other buildings, but there will be major items available during the auction.
At the time, Hartley commented that there will be some kitchen equipment (that can be remodeled by hiring the professionals of kitchen remodeling kansas city) included in the auction as well as furniture. A complete list is being compiled for the auction set for June 24.
