The Marshall County Council members on Monday morning approved an additional appropriation of $10,000 for overtime as requested by the Health Department.
The request was for overtime hours put in by Marshall County Health Nurse Lisa Letsinger in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The additional appropriation was approved with a unanimous vote.
The council also approved the appropriation of money
received in a Edward Byrne Memorial/JAG grant for the Drug Task Force. About $5,600 was appropriated into the office
supplies line item while $25,000 was appropriated in the confidential funds
line item and about $14,000 in the machinery and equipment line item.
