Culver School Board Ratifies Resolutions

The Culver Community School Board members ratified several resolutions put into place by Superintendent Karen Shuman since the board’s last meeting concerning operations of the corporation in response to COVID-19.

Shuman said one resolution dealt with teacher evaluations.  The State Department of Education gave the corporation two options on how to conduct the evaluations and the option that best fit the corporation was to use the evaluations from the previous school year.  If a teacher would like a separate assessment, the teacher can request one.

The last student instructional day is set for May 21 with the last teacher day on May 29, which was approved in a resolution.

The last resolution surrounded the closure of playground equipment to all residents.

All resolutions were ratified as presented.
