The Town of Culver will soon accept applications for the sidewalk program.
Culver Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim explained to the town council members Tuesday night that the program was postponed due to the health pandemic.
The applications may be emailed to Heim at kheim@townofculver.org beginning at 8 a.m. ET on Friday, May 1. Homeowners whose projects are selected will be reimbursed by the town at a rate of $2.75 per square foot for sidewalks, $14 per linear foot for curbs, and $26 per linear foot for a curb/sidewalk combination when they are not separated by lawn.
The town council members noted that all other town and park events throughout the month of April are canceled, which includes the town-wide yard sale. The council members will discuss the possibility of holding a town-wide yard sale later this summer.
