Culver Businesses to Get Help with Online Stores

The Culver Redevelopment Commission members will be collaborating with Develop Culver to help at least six businesses to launch online stores for shopping.

The members began a discussion on this concept before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, but it will now help these owners get started in the process to help with sales.  Business owners in Culver, and all over the nation, are experiencing a loss in revenue due to the pandemic, health protocols as a result of COVID-19, and the governor’s stay-at-home order.

The CRC approved $5,000 in funding for the Culver and Develop Culver Executive Director Danielle Mavrick to work to get those businesses online.  The cost is about $500 per business with two with estimates of about $1,000.
