The patients testing positive with COVID-19 in Marshall County are recovering well at home, according to Marshall County Public Health Nurse Lisa Letsinger.
She told the Marshall County Commissioners Monday morning that she has been monitoring eight cases. Due to a delay in the reception of test results, Letsinger said the patients have completed their self-isolation and are recovering at home.
Letsinger noted tests are continuing but those results are delayed sometimes up to 14 days. She hopes that it speeds up soon.
She is working with Fulton and Elkhart County health officials in an effort to monitor cases.
The next two or three weeks will be the peak with the way the numbers are trending in the state.
Marshall County Health Officer Dr. Byron Holm asks the community to be patient as they make decisions to try and keep all members as safe as possible during this pandemic.
